World Environment Day



WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY (WED) is celebrated on 5 June every year to protect nature and our earth. We all are aware about current situation of the resources. World environment day is united nation’s most important day to spread awareness to protect our environment. We all are in need of planting trees for oxigen.

It began in 1947 and since then it has developed to be annual celebration to go green and globally celebrated in almost 100 countries. Millions of people actively participate in celebration to save their planet. Many Schools, Collages, and other educational institutes are running many awareness campaigns to motivate students towards their environmental safety.

In 2013, "Earth Anthem" was written by an Indian poet Abhay Kumar, this anthem was written in eight languages which includes all official languages of United Nations which are Russian, Spanish, French, English, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi and Nepali.

As per the current scenario, living standard of human being is affecting our planet with various types of pollution like air pollution, noise pollution, soil pollution, water pollution, deforestation; we all must take an oath as a one to protect our natural environment to keep it safe as usual forever.
